From long-standing partnerships to new initiatives, this year was defined by meaningful investments in people and programs that make a difference. As we reflect back on 2025, we are proud to highlight the top ten ways Wesbild gave back to the communities where we live and work:
1. New Wesbild LIFT Scholars
We awarded 18 Wesbild LIFT Scholarships to CABE Secondary graduates, supporting students who are overcoming significant challenges in pursuing post-secondary education.
2. Our First Nursing Graduate
This December, the Wesbild LIFT program celebrated a major milestone: our first student to graduate as a registered nurse, a powerful example of resilience and purpose.
3. Annual CABE Brunch
In May, we hosted our annual scholarship brunch for CABE graduates, honouring their achievements and introducing them to LIFT opportunities.
4. Eight Years with the Port Coquitlam Foundation
This year marked eight years of partnership with the Port Coquitlam Foundation, trusted stewards of the Wesbild LIFT Scholarship and champions for community.
5. Presenting Sponsor of PoCo Foundation Croquet Tournament
Wesbild served as Presenting Sponsor of the Port Coquitlam Foundation’s Annual Croquet Tournament with a $25,000 donation, helping raise vital funds for local initiatives.
6. Twenty Years Supporting SHARE Family & Community Services
Our longstanding partnership with SHARE continued in 2025 with financial support and team volunteerism across multiple campaigns and programs.
7. Imagine Gala Presenting Sponsor
We were honoured to once again be the Presenting Sponsor of SHARE’s Imagine Gala, contributing $20,000 to support food security and mental health services in the Tri-Cities.
8. “Remember the Food Bank” Campaign
Our team participated in SHARE’s annual food bank campaign, reinforcing our year-round commitment to addressing hunger in our communities.
9. Supporting Skilled Newcomers through Windmill
In a new partnership with Windmill Microlending, we funded two skilled newcomers in Coquitlam, helping them overcome licensing barriers and build careers in Canada.
