Located conveniently on the north side of Lougheed Highway in Port Coquitlam, Poco Place was purchased by Wesbild in Spring of 2024.

The PoCo Place redevelopment project will transform 2755 Lougheed Highway into a vibrant, mixed-use hub that enhances community living. This site will feature a range of new housing options, dynamic retail spaces, essential childcare facilities, and thoughtfully designed public amenities.

The vision for this development is to create a complete, mixed-use community that complements the surrounding neighbourhood, providing a diverse range of housing, and substantial public amenity space, while retaining the site as a significant retail and employment hub in Port Coquitlam. This vision for a complete community is aimed at fostering well-being and healthy living for its residents, encouraging a sense of community and connectedness for the wider neighbourhood, creating a unique sense of place and providing a pedestrian focused retail experience.

The rezoning application seeks to allow for the development of:

  • Approximately 2,000 new homes, including a mix of condos, city homes, market rental homes and non-market rental homes.
  • Approximately 67,000 square feet of new community-serving retail, including a space designed to accommodate an anchor tenant such as a grocery store.
  • Retention of the 7 storey office building with 61,000 square feet of office space and 16,000 square feet of retail space at the base of the building.
  • On-site residential amenities, including a co-working areas, lounges, family areas, an entertainment area, a wellness loop and an amenity clubhouse.
  • Approximately 8,000 square feet for a new childcare facility located on level 5, including a private outdoor play area.
  • Approximately 1,800 vehicle parking spaces, including surface parking, one level of underground parking and 4 levels of above-ground podium parking and over 2,000 bicycle parking spaces.
  • A welcoming public realm with public amenity and plaza spaces, outdoor seating and improved connectivity through a new network of pedestrian pathways.
